Sturgeon Type: Huso Dauricus
Kaluga Sturgeon a fascinating species of sturgeon native to the Amur River basin. One of the only two species in the world belonging to the sturgeon genus, it takes 14 years to mature and produce eggs. It is the largest grained caviar among all varieties and the only one comparable to the renowned Beluga Caviar.

Tasting note: Rich aroma, each egg is elastic, silky smooth like silk, with a full milky flavour and a subtle salted egg yolk fragrance. The aftertaste is a blend of hazelnut and nutty aroma, with a harmonious interplay of saltiness, freshness and fragrance, leaving a lingering and enduring finish
